The outdoor Roller Hockey courts are marked on the map with an olive green circle icon. Extra features are available (e.g. writing reviews, adding photo and video) on the data sheet at the locations marked with “i-circle”.

Features of Roller Hockey

The main feature of this court is that it has boards around an oval shaped with two goals equipped court.

  • Names: Roller Hockey court
  • Ground: plastic / asphalt / concrete
  • Opening hours: sport parks, sport fields are usually open in 0-24 hours, but there are some fenced sport places with limited opening hours (eg from sunrise to sunset, etc.) that appear at the entrance.

Always take care of the cleanliness of parks, equipments and courts and the hygiene, so next time you will be happy to do sport there! And if you notice any damage or malfunction, please report it to us as soon as possible.

Roller hockey court dimensions

Dimensions and equipment

Rink / Court:

  • The recommended size of the rink is 50m x 24m, however surface dimensions can vary between 40m and 60m in length and 20m and 30m in width.
  • Where possible the width versus length ratio is 1:2.
  • A centre red line 5cm wide is marked on the floor to separate the defending zone and the attacking zone.
  • There are no other line markings required on the playing surface for roller inline hockey.

 

Wall / Boards:

  • The rink is surrounded by a wood or fibreglass wall (boards) that extend above the rink surface from 101cm to 122cm high.
  • The recommended height is 107cm. The barrier has rounded corners with a radius of 5m to facilitate keeping the puck in play.

  • Roller Skate
  • Hockey Stick
  • Helmet
  • Protectors
  • Roller Hockey puck (for plastic surface), Roller Hockey ball (for asphalt surface).
